A Mysterious Explorer Arrives Allowing The Trio To Be Entertained With Something New

————

Wearing gloves, scarfs and hats, the three kids enjoyed final crystal placid lake winter recreation game days.

“Soon we will be swimming here,” Becky Sue took her blade and pounded away peering down into the summer activity venue, only to encounter icy slivers, “yeah it is still safe.”

Following gypsies' approval seal, Princess Lida and Paulie ventured onto the natural frozen surface, talking about a common interest, school.

“You know centuries ago, people walked on chilled surfaces for miles,” Princess Lida showed monarch intelligence.

“Exploring the unknown,” Paulie added as Becky Sue, nearly bumped into him.

“They had to be careful.”

Approximately, a half hour elapsed, and a playful fun afternoon continued, until rummaging occurred, shaking the leaves.

“What could that be?” The Royal daughter questioned.

“I do not know,” Becky Sue approached to unravel the mystery.

After popping off the large pond, Becky Sue removed the twigs, “Who are you?” She inquired seeing a young boy sitting on a rock.

“I am Jacob Bruin, bearing the elements to get things straight,” the stranger mystically introduced.

“You are getting what straight?” Becky Sue proceeded.

“Whatever, is on my adventurous agenda,” Jacob smiled, seeing the other two, "who are they?”

“They, Jacob Bruin, they are my friends,” Becky Sue answered.

“Hungry?” Paulie emerged feeling out the situation.

“We are going back to Prince Paulie’s mansion,” Princess Lida proclaimed.

“You wanna come?” Becky Sue invited.

Knowing the trio needed motherly warmth Momma already prepared enough sandwiches for everyone before starting a fire.

Following breadcrumbs hitting the floor, marshmallows met friendly flames, while Jacob Bruin entertained everyone, spinning legendary tales describing his exploration life.

“Wow!” Becky Sue’s eyes opened wide.

“I saw that on television,” Princess Lida responded, shrugging off Prince Paulie grabbing her arm.

At evening’s conclusion Jacob Bruin threw a travelling knapsack over his shoulders making sure Becky Sue received a certain look, “thank you for the dinner,” Jacob Bruin graciously expressed, “but it's time to head back into the unknown.”

“You can spend the night here,” Becky Sue offered.

“Becky Sue, you do not reside here,” Princess Lida reminded her, “you live in the village,”

“Princess Lida,” Paulie interrupted, escorting the guest towards the door, “it was nice to have you here, Jacob.”

Standing on the porch, Becky Sue watched the wonderous wonderer disappear into the mist, “Wow, Jacob Bruin, bearing the elements to get things straight. Now that is a fantasy trip!”
